Written for SSAA choir and oboe.
This original anthem is particularly appropriate during times of trial (after a flood, an earthquake, a mass shooting, etc.).
It is my wife’s favorite anthem. Based primarily on Psalm 46 and Romans 8:28, the anthem was published by The General Board of Discipleship of the United Methodist Church in 2017. The original version was written for choir, oboe, and organ. Hoping that a local women’s group might sing it, I later arranged it for SSAA and oboe.
